Business Description Founded in 2002, Gridcore has a mixed competence of Scientists, System and Performance Engineers. We serve Enterprises, Academia, and Research Institutes delivering technology and services around High Performance Computing, Open Source Software and High Performance Hardware. We are also active in deploying Linux and other Open Source solutions for companies of all sizes. Linux Clusters One of the main occupations of Gridcore is the design and installation of Linux clusters. Gridcore can provide any or all of the following: Specification of a Computing Resource, the needed Hardware, installation of Linux cluster, applications integration, systems operation and training. We have special focus on the AMD64 processor architecture delivered by AMD (such as the AMD OpteronTM processor).
Product Description One of the visions of Grid Computing consists of providing through the Internet access to Computer Power in the same manner that Power Companies provide electricity to their consumers. Grid Engine (GE) is one of the most used Distributed Resource Manager (DRM) for Technical and Scientific computing. GE is provided as Open Source and freely available from the Internet and provides an efficient component for the integration of computational intensive applications in a Distributed Computer as a Linux cluster. Gridcore has collected all its methods under two frameworks which reflects best practises and solutions from real production cases: Cluster managing as a computing portal (GC-Portal) Complementary software for Scientific and Technical Computing (GC-Distro).
