Business Description ASPEED was born out of a desire to bring the power of distributed parallel processing to enterprises that needed to run computation-intensive applications to make business-critical decisions quickly. The Company’s founders identified a need to accelerate and enhance their own computational models, but did not find a software solution on the market that could meet that need. The only option available was to hire expensive personnel to develop a proprietary program in-house. Realizing that a void for such a practical solution existed, ASPEED decided to utilize their expertise in parallel computing and the financial world to develop ACCELLERANT, their signature solution. The vision was to create an enterprise-wide software platform to make the parallelization process fast, simple and affordable. ASPEED's innovative technology is breaking through the traditional barriers of distributed parallel computing and offering businesses an easy to use and powerful enterprise-wide solution.
Product Description ASPEED’s focus is to enable any application to quickly benefit from the distributed parallel environment independent of whether it is easily parallelized (Stage 1 Distribution) or considered too complex to distribute without major redesign (Stage 2 Distribution) because of the nature of the algorithm or data needs. ACCELLERANT with its combination of Best Practices, Programming API, Run-Time Algorithm Aware API and On-Demand Application Servers continues to demonstrate significant additional value in reducing not only the easily parallelized application workload response times but is also drives down the response time for Stage 2 applications without having to do major application surgery.
